How do you prove that you attended a summer program to college admissions?

Do I need to take a picture of myself there? Do I need to ask the program director to call the universities? Do I need a picture of the program roster?
Most of these are local programs, by the way. (Like Washington Aerospace Scholars)

Usually the college trusts that you went there when you write it on your application (there have been incidences when people have lied on the extra curriculars and have been kicked out of schools)

They pretty much take your word for it. If you got some kind of transcript or actually high school/college credit, you can send that to them. My kid’s high school did not accept college credits she earned over two summers in a summer program, but they still helped handle getting the transcript to colleges. We had official copies of the transcript sent to the high school, and they sent it along with the high school transcript to the colleges she applied to.

They will take your word for it (as is the case with most ECs). Though I have heard of schools randomly asking for confirmation of ECs…

Should I collect proof of all of my summer programs, in that case? Or will they just call the program director. Some of the programs that I have in mind are ending next year because of lack of funding, so the program director may be inaccessible.

Bump:…,.,

It really is not a big deal (I don’t actually know of it happening to people). Get basic contact information from a teacher or coordinator from the program, an email address is more then enough and you will be good to go…
