<p>@CE527M - Why do I need to take AP exams? Why am I taking classes that assign lots of homework in hopes that I might get into a school I actually like. Why am I not at Harvard on a full scholarship? Or rather, why am I not living a luxurious life with a prestigious Harvard degree and a gorgeous husband? Why does difficulty exist?</p>
<p>I don’t think I can doubt the fact that I’m conscious, but I suspect that I probably don’t have free will. I know that my sense experiences are sort of a “translation” of whatever is objectively real, because other organisms perceive things a lot differently and their subjective reality is no less real than mine.</p>

<p>@CE527M - Yeah, I’m 17. But if I believed that life as a 30 year old was somehow easier for me, then why am I not 30 right now? Why do I have to live as a 17 year old where SAT subject tests, AP classes, and petty High School drama controls my life? If the Universe is my oyster, why can’t I just live a perfect life at a supposed “perfect” age. </p>

<p>A while ago there was an interesting story circulating around the internet that basically mixes solipsism with reincarnation. It’s really well-written, in my opinion. Or maybe I just like the concept.</p>
