*School begins at 7:30
*4 classes in the morning, class ends at 12:00
*Class starts at 14:00
*4 classes in the afternoon, ends at 17:45
Then compulsory evening class begins at 18:30, lasts for approximitly 2 hours, and ends at 20:25.

We only have 6 courses to study, but we work for 6 days out of 7, for 10 hours out of 24, for 10 classes only for 6 courses. Having 4 math classes in a single day is no big deal for me, but I'm really sick of it. TEN CLASSES in a SINGLE day? How come? For what? RIDICULOUS. Do I have time for sleeping, for relaxing, for playing sports, and for living my life?

atom, I think he lives in China. Correct me if I’m wrong, though.

I think that that’s a hugely debilitating schedule. I would come close to committing suicide if I had to watch the sun rise *and *set while sitting in a classroom.

Wow, that sounds incredibly rigorous. Uhm… yeah. Wow. Congrats on being competent enough to have been managing your time so far. I’d have flunked out.

Some of my friends from foreign countries had schedules like that. Cram school on the weekends. We think our school is intense, but a lot of them come over here to relax. One of my friends left China when she was 8 and she still had a crazy schedule over there.
But if you live in America, you must go to a crazy school, because we don’t normally do that. I do wish school were a bit more serious though. America’s schools aren’t good enough.

I think that it’s generally better to have more time in the classroom, though this would be a bit excessive. And yes, schools here are stupid. My English class has watched five full-length movies and read one novel. And this is the highest English class my school offers.

Hmm, yes, in China, there’s a fairly long break for lunch :), but wow, afternoon classes end at 20:25? That’s intense. If you don’t mind me asking, how do you find time to do your homework?

Must be in homeroom by 8:00
School is out at 2:40

There are fifteen or sixteen periods depending on the day, which are 22 or 20 minutes long (with four minutes in between). Classes are two or three periods long. You get anywhere from one to in extreme cases of lazy senior scheduling eleven periods off each day. The schedule is different each day of the week for every student.
