How do you read SAT passages without getting bored

Because everytime I read passages for critical reading, I don't have a clue what they're talking about. Please help!

I know what you mean. I literally imagine the narrator’s voice in my head, or at least my own voice reading it enthusiastically. ALSO THIS: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/750399-how-attack-sat-critical-reading-section-effectively.html</a> is the love of my life.

I’ve had the exact same problem too. I find my thought drifting or i’m reading… but it’s like i’m sleeping with my eyes closed. The method is I use is picturing everything in my head like I’m watching a movie. I also trace/underline the words with my finger, so basically it’s forcing me to continue along the sentence because you got this finger that keeps moving across the line which for some psychological reason keeps you reading faster and focused. Also, as I picture stuff happening in my head I always make myself the main character to further keep myself from getting bored.
