How do you receive rejections/acceptances?

Is it through Penn Portal?

yea its through the portal

This will probably seem like a really obsessive and/or strange question, but does anyone here know how it will appear on the Penn Portal. When I sign in will it immediately appear with a “Congratulations!..” or a “We regret to inform you…” statement or is there more of a process to finding your fate. I’m just trying to figure out exactly when I should be most nervous.

Don’t worry about it.

@Penned2014 LOL. but dont worry. I feel the same EXACT way. I mean if you’re meeting your demise, they should atleast make you work for it. Nothing comes easy with ivy’s these days.

hahaha I agree! And I was totally wondering the same thing!! I don’t want it to say the decision right away! I hope there is a button I click where I get my decision. I just want it to be the 11th already. I feel 99 percent sure I won’t be getting in (hopefully I’ll at least get deferred) but nevertheless, I still want to know! :)

aww hopeful dont be too hard on yourself (i must admit, i am being hard on myself as well). but yeah, i would like the pain of rejection to end quickly…but i dont wanna see the decision right away :-P

i got the perfect idea. I will log into penn portal but immediatly put a piece of paper on the screen and slowly keep moving the paper down until i see the decision…no. that takes too much time. i cant wait an extra 10 seconds lol.

also. anyone reading this…can someone help me with this. I am really worrried. All help appreciated:

hahaha… I might actually do that paper thing lol, but I might be able to see through the paper… hmmm

I think we are all really cool for reading this much into things, by the way!

haha definetly. lol. hopefull underdog, did u apply CAS or …?
