Like on the reading comprehension part, there's always 2 answers that make sense and when I go back to that passage, I can find evidence for that answer but it turns out that my answer is wrong and the answer with no evidence to support it is right. I was just wondering, how do people with 700+ on critical reading get right answers?

Are there explanations? Maybe you can figure out why your answer is wrong and what the evidence for the other answer is. If it’s the right answer, there SHOULD be some kind of evidence for it. Unless, of course, you’re using a practice book and it fails.

The correct answer is ALWAYS supported by the passage. If you come down to 2 possible answers, they can’t be the same so really read the answers, find what differentiates both answers and read the passage for which answer is best supported by the passage.

I got an 800 on the cr section, so I’ll try to help ! I wish there was some easier way, but it just really comes down to trusting your instincts. On the hardest questions, there usually are two applicable answers. But one of them will be “more” right than the other. I think you could probably build up your instincts by doing more practice sections and especially focusing on the ones where you think there are two right answers, and then see what the right answer was.
