I have been accepted to a handful of universities and have begun to reject many of them in favor of the one I am attending.
How do I reject UCSC and UCR?

I’m not sure what you mean. You should be able to decline an offer in the same way you would decline any other college’s offer, which would usually be through the same interface that you used to apply. Are you asking specifically about how to use the interface?
Some of the schools my son got accepted to we never did figure out how to decline, so we just let it go! It should be on a portal somewhere, but we couldn’t figure a couple out.
Either through the portal or through an E-Mail would be fine.
I didn’t know this was a thing; I just never enrolled if I didn’t want to go. If you miss the May 1st deadline, they will assume you are a no. That’s why waitlisted students aren’t accepted until after that deadline.
I wouldn’t recommend it but you could have a little fun and send a letter like this:
Dear UCSC admissions,
This year @Gabchacho experienced an unprecedented number of offers of matriculation from highly qualified academic institutions and, as your institutional profile is lacking the passion and focus I have come to expect from a prospective college, it is with deep regret that I must reject your offer of admission. Please understand that I review each acceptance carefully and holistically, and that my rejection of you should not be interpreted as a reflection of your college’s prospects for future success. At the end of the day, quite frankly, I simply don’t have enough seats to accommodate all the qualified colleges that seek my attendance. I’d like to wish you the best moving forward and hope that you also selected some good “safety” students you’ll find adequate and affordable.
Best regards,
^ Ha! Love it!
Great for a laugh, but absolutely not to be taken seriously!
Just in case you, for any of a number of reasons, decide to transfer out of your current choice, you don’t want any burnt bridges!
A simple email along the lines of 'Thanks for offering me the opportunity to attend your school, but I’ve decided on another" will do the trick.
I have the same question because I got accepted to several with HUGE scholarships. I would like to apply as a grad student to these schools later - what should I do??
@room4more, don’t worry about it at all. Email them and move on. They won’t even remember that they gave you scholarship offers.
@room4more - What @MaineLonghorn said, and definitely not what I posted in #5 above.
I suggest formally declining all “admitted” schools once accepting to your school of choice and paying the enrollment deposit for two reasons:
@MaineLonghorn thank you!!!
