I've finished everything, i'm just hung up on this one damn question. I don't really know what they want here, everything I write feels so contrived or feels totally unoriginal. Can I have an idea of what others wrote in this space before?

I really think they just want you to be yourself. Some of these personal questions have no right answer- they are just looking for your own voice to shine through. I think the only mistake is to try too hard, and come off inauthentic. What do you really do to relax? I'm guessing that's the best answer you could give, because you will sound real and sincere. [but on a lighter note, the former admissions dean at Princeton used to joke that the worst advice you could give some people was to be themselves :)]

don't keep thinking "what they want". it is what you want that counts... if a university scrape you off because you put "play computer games", then you should scrape that university too....

i just put down my hobbies. lol. i even put sleeping... don't laugh!

and stanford is not like that. of course. stanford rocks. they want you to be you.

i think they're just checking to see that a human is filling out the application, that's all.
