You just buy nice books and read and take some sample tests?
You dont revise at all you learned enough from school?
or you pay a tutor or go to a course?

personally, i think buying prep books and taking a lot of practice tests help you. I took a SAT prep class and it did not help at all! I wasted almost $1000 for nothing. It didnt even raise my score by 100 -.-

Really depends on you, gocollege. Are you the type of student who studies well on your own? I mean spending a lot of time practicing and carefully analyzing your mistakes? If so, go with the prep book and the CB sample tests. If not, then a class or a tutor might help you. Then you have to ask yourself if you work better one on one or in a classroom environment. Some people thrive on the classroom competitiveness, others really benefit from individual attention. So there's no right way for everyone, but there probably is a best way for you...

Keep in mind that classes and tutor vary widely in quality, and can be a good match for you or a bad one... If you don't like your tutor or class, let the company they work for know, and they'll probably try to accommodate you.

has anyone done KAPLAN tutoring?

private or in a class?
