Unlike PR tests, where the ranges for each sub score are all 40 or less when scaled, BB tests seems to have HUGE ranges.

Are you suppose to take the mean? For example, I scored a 55 on the CR section. a 55 is scored as a 630-710. Do I score that as a 680? It seems very low, especially compared to the way PR scores them. For example, in the writing section of BB, even missing one multiple choice question with a 12 essay gives you a 790. Considering I've seen people with 10 essays and 11 essays who've scored an 800, I'm thinking that maybe the average isn't the way to go. But I have no idea! :(

I took a PR test a few weeks ago, and scored a 640 on the math section (down from 67(0) on PSAT). On this BB test I took yesterday, I scored a 590 (550-630). I don't think BB tests are easy, which is a good thing for studying, I suppose.

To be honest, BB CR sections are way easier than those of actual test. So, don't rely on that part of the book that much. But you know, it's still the best one.

I don't agree. They appear to be easier since you're at home, relaxed, and don't have an extra section (experimental).

I usually score by taking the average of the range. And my final score was just about the same as I had been consistently scoring on the BB tests.

^ yeah, I also take the average of the range, but generally (I've heard) that the actual score would be between the average and the high score (ex: 600~690 range --> average = 645. Score = average between 645 and 690)
