how do you stop ur school from seeing?

i know that is one of the big deals about act, but when i was registering they make u put ur high school down & my school no matter what, puts the act score on ur transcript!!

how can i avoid this??

same with my school

You can call ACT Registration and cancel your high school code up to the Thursday after you take the test. Your school will not find out, and therefore your score will not appear on your transcript.

^if the above person is correct, you won't see your score either so how would you know it's bad?

i just found out i can ask the transcript office to take off my scores

I think you can leave the high school code blank on the ACT application just like you can leave the college codes blank.

Just ask the your high school to take it off. They will

Why would this matter, anyway?

Yeah, what is wrong with having the score on your high school transcript?
If it's on there, do colleges see it or something?

If you get like a 20 then retake it and get a 25... are both on your transcripts just the college will only refer to the 25???....

Most colleges have a policy of referring to your highest score, on whatever tests you take.

That's why I'm wondering why you are worried about this.

Could somebody answer my question?

They have a new registration service where you must check a box if you want to release the scores to your score. Simply don't check that box

Yes if it is on your transcript the colleges will see it when your transcript is sent to them.
