How do you study

I find it hard to study. The only class I can study easily is English the others are kinda hard. Its hard for me to concentrate and to sit long enough to study. Doing homework helps a lot, but I want to be able to retain info in my long term memory and not cram for a test, although it helps for that one test I tend to forget it for my finals. So any tips on studying?

I don’t.

That’s why I have a 3.3

Just find a quiet place to read your textbook.

Well, it depends on the subject:

History - Re-read notes at least one time. I find that I can remember everything after reading it.

English - I dont.

Math - Barely study. If i do, it is by looking at the hardest problems in the chapter and trying to solve them. if i cant, i go back and learn what i can do beat it.

Science - read the notes.

i dont really study though. the above is what i do for midterms and stuff.

English: n/a
Math: do a few problems the night before test
Science: last minute cramming
History: read the textbook if i feel like it
Others: I dont

studying is for the WEAK

History - None
Math - None
English - None
Science - None

I don’t study. My grades fluctuate a lot, Bs and As, a good mix (all APs/Honors). I don’t do much hw either. 3.56 GPA though and 3.97 UW.

hahahahah study??? pshhh.

AP Lang – None needed
BC Calc – We do the HW so why study?
AP Bio – It’s a joke at my school.
AP Chem – Read the chapter the day before then cram during lunch with classmates.
Spanish 4 – Yeahh… idk? I guess I look at the verb conj…?
US History – Pshhh yeah right. Joooookkkkeeee.
GYM – I usually spend most of my time studying this. About 4 hours a day. Usually it’s reading books and stuff, nbd.

AP Chemistry- Read and do problems. TOUGH.
AP Human Geography- Guess on the test and BS the essays
AP European History- Read the chapters the night before the test.
Honors English- Absolutely nothing
Honors Algebra 2/Trig retake: Do the homework

I have found that studying just screws me over, so I don’t really do much of that.

Chem: I don’t even pay attention in class, so what is there to study?
Geo: Not necessary.
French: Listen to French music…?
Euro: Make flashcards / reread textbook at lunch. Only class I put effort into / like.
English: Sparknotes!

Proof studying is pointless: 3.8 UW, somewhere around 5.0 W GPA.

For vocab terms or IDs use Quizlet. Quizlet is an online flashcard site where you can look up sets of flashcards for specific classes or make your own flashcards. These cards have helped me in AP Euro, Anatomy, and Economics. As for English, Sparknotes is seen as a reference tool by my AP English teacher so I use that when necessary. If you need to do math problems, us a white board and dry erase marker; this way, you don’t use tons of paper and you can do a problem while clearly seeing all the steps instead of having to flip a piece of paper over to continue the problem (provided you have a big enough board).

As long as I pay attention in class, I usually don’t need to study to do homework or anything

I DON’T.

Why am I always required to wait 19 seconds before posting?

I don’t study either. But i want to get in the habit of studying for college, cause you must study to get a decent grade at least. But when I say English i mean vocabulary words, other stuff I just use spark notes.

I don’t know how I study. O_O

Doing my homework is how I study cause I spend a lot of time learning my hw.

Posting on CC is how I study cause I spend a lot of time posting on CC.

I think this is probably a bad thing…

young man where are your opening tags

haha

I take offense.

Now what the szplug is an opening tag???

english: NA. Math: NA. FL history science…: study the night before the test/quiz and get 100%.
