So i'm planning to self study for the AP US and Government exam this year. Since this is my first year self studying any AP class, I was just wondering first off how do you get a seat to take the exam. I also want to know in regards for AP US Government and Politics exam, what i need to do to get a 4 or 5. This being what textbook should i use, what test prep books should i use. Was the test easy/hard, what scores you guys got, things like that. Any tips. Thank You So much

I suggest you get the AP Government Crash Course Book, first and foremost. It is one of the best books to use for it. In terms of textbooks, I suggest the 12 edition of American Politics: Institutions and Policies by James Wilson. I don’t know how to get a sitting, I had the class at my school. The test, in my opinion, is quite easy and straight forward. This past year, I got a 5 on my AP Exam. I think you should go online and do some multiple choice questions and free response questions for practice, it helps.

how about princeton review or barrons for ap us gov. Which one of those would you recommend.
