How do you tell if a college needs a mid year report? Help!

I was looking at Georgia Tech’s requirements for their application, and on it I couldn’t find a single thing about a mid year report, there was however a school report/profile required. So does Georgia Tech consider a mid year report? And what is the difference between as school report and a mid year report? In general how do you tell if a college requires a mid year report? Thanks for any replies.

A school report/transcript is where your counselor provides your grades up to the end of junior year, and gives a description of the school (classes offered, limits on APs, etc.) A midyear report provides your senior year first semester grades.
Do you have an application portal for GTech? Look there and see if they ask for a midyear report.

How do I access the application portal for GT? I’ve accessed buzz port login, they say my mid year report was sent in, but I am wondering if they consider it, as it appears (from what I can tell) that they don’t use it in the application process? Anyway to find this out?

Pick up the phone and call them. Pretty good way to find out.

I just sent them an email. I’ll post what they repsond here (when they respond).

I asked about if they consider mid year report and rank and here’s what they responded.

“Thank you for your email. While the mid-year report is not required, we will consider it if it is sent to us. We do consider rank in the holistic review process we use, however keep in mind it is just one of many factors we use to evaluate the student.”

This is interesting as, rank was previously under the “not considered tab” in their common data set.
