<p>Prompt #1
Describe the world you come fromfor example, your family, community or schooland tell us
how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.</p>
<p>Since childhood I have numerous opportunities for access to science and technology. When I am in primary school, it provides us numerous videos of popular science, for example the animation about 108 constellations and I always read some books concerning mystery for pleasure. I wonder if the extraterrestrials exist why we can not find them. Everything in the nature fascinates me. Unlike other schools my junior high school does not pay attention to our academic record all the time. We go out of campus to research the plants and measure the solar elevation angle in the playground. Thus my schools promote my interest in natural science.
When I get in the high school, the ambiance of school is totally different. In order to increase the enter college proportion my school advocates study mainly for the test. We repeat doing the exercises rather than exploring a topic more deeply. When studying the calculus we only need to remember the basic rules of differentiation rather than know how they derive from. However, I am not satisfied with it and then find out that some formulae are not too complicated to deduce as my teacher say. From searching the relative information on internet I can deduce them by using some simple methods. For instance, with regard to the derivative of exponential function we first need to add an accessorial function for substitution and know the definition of natural logarithm. Then I just make the delta x tend to zero to conclude the formula. In the halogenation of benzene I ask my chemistry teacher about the specific reaction mechanism and detect the effect of some Lewis bases. While some puzzles are not beyond my knowledge range too far, I will attempt to discover them.
Via profound research I can acquire more knowledge. With that even though I do not take as many exercises as my classmates the score is higher than the majority of them. Through more thorough study I can understand the point of knowledge more lucidly. In the grade 10, I lend an ABC of calculus from my deskmate for interest, so the lesson of calculus is easily to understand for me in the grade 11. Moreover, comprehending some knowledge is more valuable than memorizing it and forgetting it after the test. After a year when find the rules of the binomial, I still can make use of binomial theorem to write out every term of the algebraic expansion of powers of a binomial readily.
No matter challenge or opportunity these schools offer, the values of learning is unvarying for me. The only goal of study is to enrich my knowledge. I will not put in a lot of effort to recite endless materials and grab the techniques of solving questions for tackling the examination. Instead I will pursue more challenging fields. I use more vigor to cooperate with my classmate write a thesis about high dimensions geometry and the solution of magic cube in these dimensions. The territory of natural science, especially astrophysics, is the most intriguing domain I want to explore. From the origin of universe to the string theory I have a myriad of aspects to grasp and expand.</p>

<p>fyi…there are only 88 official constellations…if I have time I may edit your essay. I also have a passion for astronomy and wrote about it for my essays, though in a very different fashion :)</p>
