I took the SAT college board (2006-2007) preparation booklet with me home today from school, and had decided to take three math sections. I turned up my music, and recieved 54/54, or an 800. A few week's before this I was scoring 680-700, but I have seemed to finally grasp it. Knowing that, how do you think I'll do on the real thing, is the test booklet from college board accurate? I had also finished them within the time limit's. I am taking my SAT june 2, and was wondering how much prep I should do every day to maintain where I am.

Your score may be in the 700 range, but that's about as accurate as it can get. Sometimes, the hard questions differ greatly from the ones they give you in the sample booklet. Not answering those (or even getting one wrong) correctly means no 800... thank you CB for the harsh curve.

I don't know how good you are at math, but if you can figure out every single hard problem (no matter what) within the time constraints, then yes, it could be accurate.

All it really is is a good indicator that you are doing something right. It by no means guarantees you an 800. However, I would say that you should expect at least a 750. As far as preparation, I would buy the blue book and take the practice tests in there. They are as much like real tests as possible and will give you a better idea of what your exact score should be.
