Do you think we will have to make this time up during our thanksgiving and christmas break?

I really hope you guys don't have to. One week off the entire school year won't hurt your academics/sports THAT much.

what is likely to happen is that (and don't quote me on this, but i've heard this from several people) winter break could be pushed back to start a week later. Don't know anything for sure though.

I don't go to UCSD (not that a ucsd student would know) but I'd imagine they would just cut the material a week short. Extending past Christmas break is breaching the syllabi. People have made travel plans and staff would have to be paid overtime. I don't see ucsd making you guys stay an extra week.

1 week out of 30 is a lot considering how much we're paying to be here

lol well I'd rather be at home with my family and friends than at school no matter how much I'm paying

amen brotha

It looks like there will be no make up days, according to my e-mail. The UC system has allowed a reduction of days for the quarter due to the circumstances. It looks like it's pretty much up to the teachers on how they will deal with getting the material all in.
