What is the most efficient way to use a weekly planner? Which planners are the "best"?

I find that even though I try to write down homework/times for events/etc., I never seem to be able to stick to a planner. However, I feel taht I really should start using one :/

i don’t. i’m a procrastinator and i guess no matter how much i wish to be organized, i simply can’t. sometimes if planners don’t work, why don’t you use electronic devices like your cell to keep you alert of what to do?

At my school, they give us a planner, so I just use that:) I just fold the pages over when I’m done, and right down all of my assignments next to the day of the week. It’s not too hard to use and it’s sufficient:>

Although I am a procrastinator, my agenda is my bible. Without it, I’d really never get any work done. Basically, as soon as your teacher tells you an assignment, write it down right away. Always works for me and I’ve never forgotten/turned in an assignment late. I also write down funny quotes from class in the “notes” section right after Friday (at least we have that in mine) so that I can remember to tell friends and I can always look back years later and remember the good times/all the stupid things people said.

I wrote down my homework in the school provided planner just to keep track of what I was supposed to do. It didn’t make me more productive, but I didn’t forget what work I had and hadn’t done. It also helps you remember what happened on a certain date if necessary (like when clearing an absence a couple months later, lol).

I used to buy the assignment books from the school, but this year they ran out before I got a chance to buy one.

I just got a small regular one from staples. It didn’t have the dates already filled out so when I didn’t fill it out for a day, or even a week, it wasn’t like their was 5 pages of empty space. I find that using an assignment book is a helpful was too keep track of your assignments, but when I write them down I rarely look at it that night.

I don’t use one. I try but then it’s just… blah after a few days. I’m pretty organized, so I just write assignments on the most recent paper (font of binder), so I will know what to do when I open the binder.
