But for the password, it says this "As a first-time user, you must enter your UC Application ID Number and your E-Mail address as your password. "</p>

<p>I think it means to enter your app #, and then use your email address as your password this time only. You'll be logged onto a page where you can select your own password to use after the first time. Son received an email from UCSB today, telling him the app was complete-- I wonder if he will hear from each campus individually? He applied around November 18, and it took about a week for the status to change on the UC website. I would guess it might take even longer now, with so many applications being submitted at the deadline.</p>
<p>you hear from each uc individually. most post it online and you will be sent an email to link to it. you will also receive a letter in the snail mail. be warned that the day the uc's release admissions are all on an individual basis and that their web sites will surely crash causing a great deal of waiting and anxiety.</p>

<p>i cannot log onto the uc application status website because my email is too long. the space provided where you write your email as your password is too short and will not let me type any more...........so please HELP!!</p>
<p>i applied on nov 28th and i also got a blue envelope from uc sometime this week.</p>
<p>if i still havent recieved my email confirmation does that mean i also wont recieve a confirmation from the other schools?</p>
