With the practice essays, I usually spend a while structuring out the points and stuff and that takes 3~5 minutes. The rest of the time I would just write as fast as I can nonstop, and at the end I would barely manage a 2-example essay (4 paragraphs, 9 words per line) within the time limit. Comparing them with the princeton review's examples, I'd say my essays would be level 4~5-ish if not lower.

A few weeks ago I wrote one without the time limit and finished at around 40 minutes and it looked so much better, almost a level six. So it's a matter of write fast and think fast... anyone here experienced this problem? If so, any tips on how to just generally be faster?

Another thing I have trouble with is that I don't think I have enough general knowledge, it's what has been limiting me to two examples rather than three, but I suppose that can't be improved in just a week...
