I usually do "apr.17, 2010" (deliberate lack of month capitalization) or I do "4.17.10."

I’m definitely a slash kinda guy. 4/17/10

I like slashes too.

4/17/10 FTW.

Or I just put April 17, 2010

Mostly April 17, 2010

My middle school had this “rule” that where we all had to write out the date. If not, we would lose points from our assignment. I never really understood the significance of doing so.

^ really? that’s really stupid o.O

I like putting the date on everything I work on… is this just me?

Slashes. 4/17/10
I used to do dashes, but one day, my hand kind of just started doing slashes. It was weird.

Slashes… 4/17/10. I did dashes like once a few weeks ago, but it was an accident :p

I did dashes when I was a kid, but then I moved to slashes. I’m not really sure why

Dashes. 4-17-10.

I did dashes all the way in 1st grade, then I moved to slashes. It’s weird.

slashes! 4/17/2010

but in french i tend to write out the whole thing:
samedi, le 17 avril 2010

I write 17-Apr-10. I’m from outside of the US so I reeeefuse to write 4-17-10 This is my compromise…

slashes! 10char

I like to kill people.

Hence, slashes.

I’ll be here all week.

Wow. I usually only use periods. 4.17.10.

Depends on my mood, but usually slashes.

I use slashes, but I also put an extra ‘20’. 4/17/2010.

I go to a British school, so I’ve always written 18/04/10 even though I’m American :
I used to be OCD about having two numbers in each section, but now I usually write 18/4/10.

…and sometimes I write 10-04-18 if I’m in the mood to do so.

^ it’s freaky how i probably know jhwu’s school already without having ever talked to them directly.

I’ve never actually seen anyone use dashes before, didn’t know people did. It’s either / or .

^ Uhh whut? CONFUSION!
