I've heard different ways oddly enough, but is this it for sure?

(# of MC right)* (.9) + (# of pts you get on the Free Response, which is out of 40, 10 for each question)* (1.5).

The max is 150, and then

5) 85-150
4)65-84
And so on??

it depends on how everyone in the nation does on the test. it is curved. if everyone happens to do really well, then the curve changes.

[(# of MC correct) - (.25 X # of MC you marked incorrectly)] *(0.9) + (# of points you get on the Free Response) *(1.5)

Can anyone confirm if this looks about right?

85/150? That’s a little too low even for the AP curve, isn’t it? I never took Bio, but even for subjects like Physics and chem you have to score about 65%

if you took bio, you would understand.

there is way too much stuff to know for the course so i’m hoping that curve is about right.

I’d say 95 to be safe.

most your curves dont change that much. you wont see mammoth changes, since the test is supposed to be relatively standardized.

What’s the range for a 3?

40-50%?
I’m guessing

On my practice test I got a TOTAL score of 60, is that a safe four? I feel like there no way :(

^if its the MC only and out of 100 question it is.

what if i got a 64.5ish after subtracting the .25 on the MC alone, out of a 100 questions. is that a safe 4-5?

^ safe 4, borderline 5, you’d have to do well on FRQ
