Just out of curiosity, how do your schools define A,B, C and D and how do they correlate with GPA? Our school doesn't have a uniform system. Some courses have A+++, A++ and A+, while other courses simply have A.

It’s a number grading system.

I have a 90 u/w and a 94 weighted.

Old high school:
A= 100-90
B= 89-80
C= 79-70
D= 69-60
E= <60

and - was dependent on teacher, but they didn’t factor into our GPA.

A: 89.5-100
B: 79.5-89.4
C: 69.5-79.4
D: 59.5-69.4
E: <59.5

No pluses or minuses.

A: 90-100
B: 80-89
C: 74-79
D: 70-74
F: <70

we’re on a 4.0 grade scale with 1 quality point for AP and .5 for honors

A- average
B- bad
C- crap
D- death
F- *****ed.

A: 93-100
A-: 90-92
B+: 87-89
B: 83-36
B-: 80-82
C+: 77-79
C: 73-76
C-: 70-73
D+: 67-69
D: 60-66
F: 0-59

on a 4.0 grade scale, classes are not weighted :/

I’m trying to figure out what *****ed would have to mean for it to be worse than death…

A+ = 97-100 (So yes, lots of pressure in order to get max grade - very difficult!!!)
A = 93-96
A- = 90-92
B+ = 87-89
B = 83-86
B- = 80-82
C+ = 77-79
C = 73-76
C- = 70-72
D = 65-69 (there might be D+ 67-69, but I’m not sure)
F = 0-64

you can think of death as instant painless death
and *****ed as slow painful memory that’ll forever hunt ur memory, slowly killing you from the inside, driving you to insanity to a point that is worse than death.

A= 100-90
B= 89-80
C= 79-70
D= 69-60
F= 0-59

Most teachers will round an 89.5 up, but I think that’s just niceness, not school policy. A lot of teachers will take any “bubble” grade up if you’ve been a good student and you ask nicely.

All chemistry grades are about 3 points lower, depending on how the class is going. Like an 87% is an A in chemistry, whether it’s AA (10th grade advanced) or AP. Sometimes the curve is a bit higher, like 87.5%, but teachers will still round. It’s guaranteed to be at least 88%.

A:93-100
b:86-93
c:77-85
d:70-77
f:0-69

^^^haha fair enough

At my school it was up to the teacher, but it was pretty standard to do the scale zest21 said, except we had D-s also.

Our school has a straight percentage scale. Makes the students much more competitive for even a point.

Ok…

County Grading Scale

90-100 A
89-87 B+
86-80 B
79-77 C+
76-70 C
69-67 D+
66-60 D
59 and below F

Parent’s grading Scale(Black people!)

A Average
B bad
C Crappy
D Death

There is no F, if it existed it would be the same as shph’s

My grading Scale

96-100 Average
95-Below I failed.
95

^yeah my school has a percentage scale too

it sucks when the only reason you’re not top 1% is a 90 freshman year

used to be
A+ 98-100
A 95-97
A- 93-96
B+ 90-92
…
until this year when the school decided to be nice
A+ 98-100
A 93-97
A- 90-92
B+ 88-90
…
So yeah. our grading scale looks pretty harsh. although it got a bit better. so hard to get an A+, especially in languages
