I just took the Spring SAT and got back my scores. I got an 800 in CR, 680 in Math, and 670 in Writing, totaling to 2150. I'm definitely going to take it again in the fall to bring up the math and possibly the writing, but I was just wondering whether the 800 in CR has any particular affect on my chances for some of my schools (Duke, Columbia, Georgetown), does that by itself give me a boost or is it just a nice perk? Thanks

The CR score is critical, as in its name, for school applications. Some school only look at CR+M. On the other hand, it is good to have an 800 on hand for superscoring.
