How does a P/NP class factor in with GPA for transfer...?

I have a PE class that is a pass/no pass, how exactly would this be counted in with my GPA? If it's even going to be counted.
It's transferable and stuff but I'm planning on dropping it because the staff in the fitness room are a bunch of idiots and pigs.

And if I do drop it, I would receive a W in my transcript, the first...

P/NP courses do not affect your GPA. A W here and there will just be disregarded. You are fine either way.

So passing a 2 unit class doesn’t factor in my GPA at all?

Correct. ^

What!?!? Why am I taking this PE class then. -_____-

So should I just drop it and get a W?

Can you change the grading to letter grade?

I don’t think so. It’s a PE class and it’s either you do the required amount of hours completely or not. Incompletes equals fail.

(Dang. AskMsSun just answered like the whole board.)

I assume you dropped the class? Like I mentioned before, a W here and there is no big deal, and the UCs are certainly not going to care that much because it’s PE!

I just visit CC occasionally, so I end up answering a whole bunch of questions at a time.

Yeah thanks. I did dropped, getting my first W.

Oh, you are fine. One W is hardly worth stressing over.

Yeah thanks.
