Hi guys,
I am currently studying at Rutgers-Camden, School of Business, as an international student. In my freshman year, I can honestly say I did a pretty god job because I got a 3.8 GPA. However, this semester is almost over, and I’ve been feeling overwhelmed with the workload I have to handle. Somehow I lost my ability to balance equally what I do, which was putting me in danger of getting at least a C in my Marketing class. I hate the way my professor uses to teach. This class doesn’t have any homework and quizzes. The attendance is not mandatory. He goes over his power point slides, which everyone can easily download online, on every class and makes the tests impossibly tough. I got 71 on my first test and failed the second one, which is worth 34% of my grade. I thought I’m going to get a “D” in this class. So, I’m so ashamed to say I dropped this class. Some of my friends kept telling me it’s a TERRIBLE choice to withdraw a class because the universities I want to transfer to will consider a “W” grade as “F.” It is not a good feeling, I’ve never done this before, but I just figured I could retake it and try to get a higher grade. Now I am worried that if the schools I want to transfer find out that I have a “W” on my transcript. Does this affect me when transferring to another university? Would this affect my admissibility of other universities?
Here are the overall grades I have accepted so far.
