How Does Affirmative Action Feel About Multi/Biracials

We know that the evil monster AA loves blacks and latinos and native americans but how exactly does he (or she but actually it more sense for AA to be a minority so he or she is probably transgendered) look at multiracial applicants. Is it better for them to apply as the minority or as a multiracial applicant?

(only half joking I do really want to know)

African-American: +2
Native-American: +5
Middle-Eastern: +1, +3 if from a troubled country
European-American: +0
Asian-American: -3

Thus, a 1/2 Native-American + Asian-American combo will be a +2.

Nah I’m kidding. I honestly have no idea how colleges work out AA.

^ You forgot Hispanic.

Anyways, I’m curious to know lol. I’m a multiracial URM, though.

Caucasian.

Multiracials are only like 2% of the population I think that we’re probably pretty underrepped. But for college and jobs and stuff is it better for me to apply as just black or as black and white?

I don’t know. I’m checking off all 3 of my races…even though all 3 are underrepresented.
I mean…if you really want the boost lol, apply as black. If you don’t really care, apply as both. If you’re against AA, decline to state. :)

I’m checking black LOL

Depends on the individual.

Barack Obama: Black.

Tiger Woods: Caublasian.

Choose what you want.

If I was more multiracial… I would pick both.

If a person is half Native American from a small tribe, and half African from a small tribe. That right there is a big boost.

I mean I’m against affirmative action but I mean I need whatever boost I can get. I went to Exeter last year and my grades weren’t great and when I came back home whenever they did my transcript they didn’t even weight the classes I took even though the classes I took there were way harder than any AP or Pre-Ap class class I’ve ever taken at this school. So anyways my GPA’s pretty much ****ed.

Check black.

+1 from a Palestinian. I’m just as Caucasian as any Irishman.

There’s quite a bit of Irish-Palestinian solidarity. Murals in Northern Ireland call for liberty for both nations.

Indeed. Very similar stories in both nations.

Both have similar thoughts on alcohol too.

Really now? I remember Palestinians as being pretty anti-alcohol, and the typical Irish stereotype is that of an alcoholic.
