How Andover’s AOs choose people to be admitted?
Do they understand if you have e.g. during SSAT 100% maths, 95% reading, but 30% verbal because you are foreigner?

There is as a link in a post not long ago that was from the dean there which outlined the process at Andover.
Can u give me a link?
I wish I could remember which thread I saw it on here. It was something like Dean’s Blog at Andover.
Here is it: http://www.andover.edu/Admission/DeansJournal/Pages/default.aspx. It’s dated (2010) but gives you an idea of their process. I assume its more electronic these days though.
I spoke to the Dean there a few years ago. The process is holistic. They will certainly take into account low verbal scores if English is not your first language.
However keep in mind that plenty of international kids with 90+ percentile scores across the board. So the competition is tough.
Andover also moved to an entirely on line review process about 2 years ago. Apart from this the process is the same as outlined in the 2010 link.
If you want more go to the Phillipian and there are some older articles which provide some more details
