Well, I was wondering how the school of engineering compares to the other schools in terms of selectivity of admissions. If anyone has any thoughts I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Okay, I feel like a broken record here...if you're a fit for CoE you have a better shot there than anywhere else...its all about if you're qualified or not.

The admission rate is 30%, which is comparable to the other colleges in the university, if not slightly better.

Really--30%? That seems kind of high given that the overall acceptance rate for last year's class (RD only) was just under 20%. Is there a place to find acceptance rates for each college?

GoldenBear59--all I know about engineering is that they look carefully at math and science grades and test scores. So it may be a little more focused on those areas than the other colleges.

Engineering has the highest acceptance rate of all the undergraduate colleges, but it's applicant pools are known to be pretty self-selective.
