Okay I'm going to start this off with the fact that I haven't slept in a about 2-3 days so if at any point something doesn't make sense, that's probably why.

Ok so basically from my understanding IGETC is pretty much the following for UCs
2 courses of English
1 course of Math
3 courses of art and humanities
3 courses of social and behavioral science
2 courses of physical and biological science
2 years of HS equivelant foreign language.

Now for the 3 courses of humanities/arts 2 of them are fulfilled by the fact that I passed AP World History and US history. That means I have 1 course of art to take to fill that requirement

For the 3 courses in Social and behavioral sciences my AP macroeconomics and AP Psychology fulfills two of the requirements meanining I only have to take 1.

For my sciences I'm actually over as I've taken AP Chem, Bio, and Environemental Science. So I'm done there

I took up to 3 years of Spanish in high school.

I did pass my AP english language exam albeit with a 3 which does qualify me to get credit for 101 BUT my CC won't allow me to go into 102 without taking 101 so sadly I'm going to have to retake that.

That pretty much leaves me with 5 courses to take before finishing my general education. right? I honestly don't know.

Now I have gone to my college counselor and he's more or less "useless" besides the papers he handed to me. He states that he'd rather not advise me as if he tells me to do something and I later on regret doing it he doesn't want that hanging over his head as I have so many options available. So I'm SOL and I'm kind of clueless to how the whole transfer process works. There's also the TAG program which requires me to take a few classes which are considered "honors" but the thing is they're general ed classes and it's like having to retake the same class all over again. Of course it'll give me a better chance of getting accepted to a UC but is it worth the extra effort and time? It may even delay my transfer a year.

I'm planning on majoring in Biology so do I basically try to accrue as much upper division classes as possible within 2 years after finishing my general education? Also I've been told by several sources that due to my major some of my "accomplishments" from said APs are not applicable. Does this mean that it doesn't qualify for my upper division classes or my general education? I still plan on taking Bio 6 and Chem 101 and the whole subset of classes that branch off from it but I'm curious as to if I were to complete the 2 english classes, 1 math class, 1 art class, and 1 social science class am I eligible to transfer then? Of course I won't be as appealing as I won't have any upper division classes but is that what the IGETC is? No one really explains this and when I ask I find myself not getting the answer I want.

Pretty much I screwed myself over with my AP classes as I've passed 9 BUT in doing so it ruined my GPA causing me to only be accepted by UCR.

If anyone could please offer some insight as to what I'm supposed to do that'll be awesome.

Also if anyone is aware of how to get a higher priority registration that'll also be great. I applied for a spring semester about 8 months ago so I've had a registered ID with Pierce but I have friends who applied like 2 months ago and they hae registration dates two weeks prior to me. Mine doesn't open up until june 12th and I have some friends going back as far as May 25th. Now I talked to Pierce and they have no clue as to why they have a higher registration date since we're all considered "clean slates" since we have no courses taken since we're all fresh out of high school.
