How does Beta Alpha Psi differ from Delta Sigma Pi?

Beta Alpha Psi is an accounting fraternity. Delta Sigma Pi is general business.

Can both be joined? I am an accounting major so should BAP be at the top of my list?

Back when I was in school you could join both. At my school you could join DSP as a freshman, if you were in the business school. You could not join BAP until the end of junior year/beginning of senior year, since you had to have the minimum accounting GPA in intermediate/advanced accounting classes.

BAP is an honors accounting fraternity. You are invited to join - you need the requisite overall GPA and Accounting GPA to be eligible for membership. DSP is general business fraternity open to all business majors. There may be a minimum GPA, but I graduated 30 years ago so I don’t recall and requirements may have changed. However, I would not be surprised if there is a minimum since even most social fraternities/sororities have minimum GPAs in order to be eligible for membership.
