How does Bowdoin calculate gpa's?

<p>Yes they count freshman year.
There are no PE courses - I think some singing dance and theater courses that are half credit may simply be Credit/Fail.</p>

<p>sorry oliver, but i'm pretty sure you're wrong about the "minus grades" - they are .7s, not .6s. if you think about it, this makes more sense anyway (2.7 is .3 less than 3... 3.3 is .3 more. same change).</p>
