I'm self-studying AP World History, and I'm scared. I don't feel like I'm keeping pace like I should be doing. I haven't been practicing the essays even though I've read the rubrics many times. I don't think I'm going to do well on the exam, but I still want to take it just to see.
I'm not a senior, so I'm not in the process of applying the colleges. I really want to qualify for National AP scholar. I can't do that if I get below a 4 on any exam.
I'm not going to cancel my score before June 15th because I want to know what it is. If I don't like the score, can I cancel it afterwards?? I don't want it withheld. I want it completely off my record. Is that possible to do? Withheld means it's still there and colleges won't see it. To qualify for National AP scholar, withholding a score wouldn't matter, right? Technically, it'd still be on my record.
College Board is so confusing. I've looked at the website, and it doesn't directly answer my question. I don't mind paying for the cancellation as long as I can still qualify for National AP Scholar.
