how does college judge course rigourness

Although you CAN take it without any prior physics experience, most people take a year of high school physics before AP, especially if they’re doing Physics C.

i’m still wondering about my original question: is mark inflation more common in US than in Canada? assuming the standard for “B” is the same, our percentage required to get the B is significantly lower? does it mean that the standard is lower in Canada?

This is prolly a stupid question, but can I take the AP exam for Spanish since my school made it a normal course, not AP this year? If so, would it count as if I took the whole course or what? Is it worth it to take the AP tests at the end of your senior year, since the colleges you’re applying to aren’t gonna see the scores until after they admit/reject you?

yeah damon, i been wondering the same question. If AP test is like SAT 2, i can just say i self study for 3 APs and do the exams at the end of the year. Since i’m taking similar courses in school, they should be a breeze. are you allowed to do it though?

I’ve heard that a 60 in India is also an A. I am almost postiive that the courses are actually tougher abroad than here in the US. A few schools (like mine)are on the10 point scale because ofcourse rigor. I’m assuming your schools are tougher so they lower the threshold so that at least a few people get A’s.
