How does Completion Ratio work. Transfering from CC to University (SAP)

Says I need a 67% completion rate and this worries me as I had dropped an entire term plus failed math 3 times before I passed. I did go back and retake everything and only one F remains.

Federal regulations require all schools participating in Title IV federal financial aid programs to have a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) policy that conforms to the two requirements detailed below. These requirements apply to all students as one determinant of eligibility for financial aid.

# Your satisfactory academic progress status is based on your entire academic record, at all schools attended, regardless of whether you received financial aid.
# Check your status each semester! SAP is calculated each semester after grades have been posted to academic history by the registrar. One week after the last day of final exams is a good time to check your status.
# If your SAP status is ineligible, you will not qualify for a tuition deferment, and must pay by the payment deadline (end of drop/add, which is the 5th day of classes), or your registration will be cancelled.

Need to complete 8.5 out of 12 units with at least a 2.0 if FTES. First time offense is probation with a term grace period where you are eligible for financial aid. Second offense is suspension where you don’t qualify for financial aid.

The other problem that they are cracking down on is Max Time Frame for ALL attempted units. It’s 150% but some schools are putting people on probation if they are approaching 150% at around 135%. Due to lack of financial aid available to serve all students, when one hits MTF, they have one extra term granted through an appeal. If you go over MTF in CC, then the transfer institution can’t grant you financial aid.

How does grade forgiveness come into play for that? If I had went back and passed all my classes does it count for a completed class. Aid makes no difference to me but this college is requiring for admissions I meet the 67%

Upper level transfers (60 credits or more) with a course completion ratio below 60% will be denied.
