how does CU view add info stuffs

say if you put why you had a bad SAT or SAT II score in the add. info

what will they think?

better off not explaining it?

i took chem when i was a sophomore, had a horrible teacher, got a 3 on the AP (this was my first time taking chem, no intro course either). The college will see that i took it in 2003, but should i explain that i was a sophomore blah blah anyway?

I got a 2 on the AP Chem because we had a horrible teacher and it was like a test run of the course (well, they were seeing if they could teach it to people who had not taken Chem before).

I'm not reporting the score...you probably should do the same. I don't know if its a good idea to use "the teacher was bad and stuff" as an excuse.

What would your excuse be for a bad SAT or SAT II?

I didn't think Columbia saw AP scores until after the final decision. There's no place on the application for it.

Yeah, there's a place on the Counseler Rec.
