How does Dartmouth know whether or not you are a Legacy?

<p>On the Common App/Dartmouth supplement I didn't notice any fields where you could indicate that you were a legacy applicant...</p>

<p>so how do they find out?</p>

<p>...or do they even care</p>

<p>...or did I just miss something</p>

<p>If you had a parent attend D they mark the application themselves through the info you provided on your parents.</p>
