How does EFT work and do you use it? Or do you have a credit card?

<p>you must have a checking account for EFT, financial aid transfers the left over amount not used for tuition/costs and transfers the money electronically over to your checking account</p>

<p>You have the ability to put funds into your Cal1 card and use it for purchases at any place that accepts it. Not all area stores take it, making a general credit or debit card useful as well.</p>

<p>Do you guys all have credit cards? Idk if my parents would give me one or if they’d just a “gift card visa” type of thing…but they probably would get the CC.</p>

<p>It can be a debit card - linked to a bank account so you can withdraw from ATMs and use ‘as if it were a credit card’ because they debit card is treated like a credit card by stores. The difference is that you are paying from cash in the account instead of incurring charges (debt) like a regular credit card.</p>
