Im just wondering.. If you send your application to Cornell for ED on September 1st (the first day), then what do they see it as? Is it just like "good job you sent in you app." or "Wow! you're on top of things!"
Also: I want to apply for class of '16, how much harder do you think it will be to get accepted in 2 years?

I can’t imagine it matters one way or the other. no one I’ve ever spoken to, like guidance counselors in high school, ever encouraged me to submit any earlier than the normal Nov. 1st deadline. if there was a distinct advantage I bet people would talk about it. either way a quality application is surely far more important.

I don’t think it will be significantly different in two years. in the mean time, please make sure you enjoy your ample time in high school now.

How about, it won’t get lost? Oh and if you get an interview or there’s an alumini in your area, your far more likely to get to talk to one of them than the other Jos who apply in Nov. I’d guess thats about it. (I mean, I doubt the A. officer takes the time to examine when you applied)

the point about getting the interview is a decent one. but any time in September would probably be plenty early for that.
