I may have left some things out, but how does it look? Thanks for any comments.

I think you've got a really good chance. Since you are a humanities person, I bet your essay was great. You have good EC's, a solid rank, and a good ACT. The only weakness I see is math. What was your ACT math subscore?

I think you have a good shot but I wouldn't say really good. Your rank, as crazy as it is, is a decent amount under the average, but it will help that your ACT is a couple points above. I think you have a good shot, once again, but very good is a bit stronger than I would give, but that is just me. Good luck!

My math subscore was 30 on the test I reported. I know the rank is a bit low...but the number one gpa is about 100.something (so it's quite close in the top ten or so).

Class rank probably isn't going to make or break you. My school did not rank, but I was probably 9th or 10th out of class of low 50's that graduated from my school and this ranking was mentioned on transcript as a side note for schools that did want to see rankings. That having been said, my school has repeatedly sent anywhere from 1-7 students here to ND in at least the last 10 years, so the admissions committee is familiar with how our schools program is in terms of academic rigor. For comparison when I went to ND, I was able to get in with a 1510 on SAT(the old version); a 30 on ACT; GPA over 4.0 on a scale that went to 4.3 (school used A+ as a grade). Really it boils down to having things that stand out on the application, hoping you make a good impression and a little bit of luck. Face it college admissions at highly selective schools are a crap shoot, I made it in to ND early admission with no alumni connections to the schools, but was waitlisted at comparable other schools. Am I sorry I went here, nope.
