How does it look?

I've done this for a few single colleges, but I just wanted to know what kinds of colleges any of you think I am qualified for. I'm applying to Notre Dame, Harvard, Duke, Boston College, Vanderbilt, Yale and Columbia.

I realize this isn't exactly "in-depth," but what are your thoughts?

I think it depends on how your school places. If your school places very, very well, you probably have good chances at the toughest to get into on your list, especially with strong recs, essays, and interviews.

When you say "how your school places," are you referring to a history of sending students to good schools? Or maybe you refer to a national ranking? I'm not sure I understand.

Thanks for the input, though.

Oh, I most certainly mean history of sending students to good schools.

Well, I am from a small, Catholic school in Mississippi with little history of sending people to super high level schools. As this is the case, does it make me a better match for places like ND or BC?

Might want to look at Holy Cross-very good school 1 hour from Boston. HC like Notre Dame offers good financial aid. Can apply up till Jan.15th.

Well, it's still posibile you could get in, but that makes it harder, becaues it seems schools tend to know of places where they get big chunks of their classes. Don't worry about it. There isn't anything you can do and it may be fine anyway. I'm not sure, but would think that your coming from a Catholic school would be a small plus at the Catholic schools. Roll the di and see what happens.
