How does it work on test day?

I've heard rumors that you get a packet with all the subject tests in it. Is it possible to take a different subject test from which you are registered on test day? For example, say I signed up for Math I but didn't want to take it. Could I instead take Chemistry?

yeah, you get a giant book of the subject tests and i believe you can change your mind and take which ever ones you want in which ever order…lol. as long as it isn’t a language listening test which i think requires prior enrollment.

Can you take the giant book of subject tests with you? I kinda wanna take it home for fun…

nope. No material is to be taken out of the test center.

How exactly does it work?

Take your first SAT II.
5 min break?
Take your second SAT II.

???

yeah pretty much

thanks

I called SAT last week cause I wanted to switch my son to a different math. They said this was no problem and that if he signed up for 3 tests, then he could take any 3 he wanted because they are all in one big booklet. (though post #2 is probably right about the language listening tests) They did suggest that you give some thought as to which order you want to take the subject tests.

^Even if he had signed up for 1 test, he would’ve been able to take 3 - he would have just been billed for the extra tests (along with the late fee).
