If someone were to graduate from Jefferson Med would it lower chances to get a good shot at a residency compared to someone from Upenn's med school? How is Jefferson as a med school anyway i cant really get much info on it...?

Im looking at it because im interested in the 6 year PSU program

If someone could help me out that would be great thanks

I suggest you do a search regarding combined med programs, as that topic has been debated ad nauseum on this forum. Jefferson is a fine medical school, and if you're having difficulty finding info on it i suggest you use this newfangled tool called 'google.' heck, they even make the USNews rankings, so there's plenty of info on them right there.

Any US med school will get you into a residency if that is your question, providing you pass your boards. Regarding how much the prestige of a given med school will benefit you in getting a residency in a competitive field if a topic of much debate, but the consensus seems to be that it matters very little, I daresay less so than the role undergrad plays in getting into the top med schools (which is small in its own right). Obviously, Penn has more clout, but this only really matters at all if you're planning for a career in research or policy (many threads on this as well).
