Do you go buy your own detergent and stuff? Also how much does it cost? Is it about 25 cents a load or what?

I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure in most cases you have to go to a laundrymat. Because i was looking at one college and it said it had washing machines in the dorm building and my parents said that was rare.

im not realy positive about that tho...

im sure they have laundry on the first floor

There are laundry machines either in the dorms or close to them, same for on campus apartments. You do not have to go to a laundrymat. Laundry is usually not on the first floor in dorms and requires access to the dorms to use. You can pay either with quarters (75c wash, 50c dry) or with TritonPlus.

I got TritonPlus only so I didn't need quarters every week.

In the Warren res halls, laundry machines were not on the first or fifth floors.

true that. In Muir dorms there is a laundry room every odd floor (1, 3, 5...)

o well that's nice to know you don't have to go off campus to do laundry.

gah i remember waiting for people to come and get their clothes out of the washer/dryers...gah such a pain... eventually after an hour i just moved their stuff...
DONT FORGET YOUR CLOTHES ITS REALLY ANNOYING TO THE PEOPLE THAT WANT TO USE IT NEXT!!

But if we left a magnet with our name and phone number, would that help? (so you could notify us?)

And also left a random bag or laundry bag to the side? Or would that get stolen?

lovelynight - That is what our whole house did last year (D-House). If your HA's don't advise you guys to do it then I suggest you ask.

--It works too
