How does LSAC count "NG" as gpa

How will the lsac count the NG on my transcript ?

My school says it means NO GRADE.

Will that be a trouble for me ?

thank you guys first

If your school views it as punitive and equivalent to failing the course, the LSAC will count it as a failing grade. If it is non-punitive then it will not be calculated

[LSAC - Frequently Asked Questions - Credential Assembly Service (CAS)](http://www.lsac.org/JD/Help/faqs-cas.asp#law-schools-evaluate)

Uh… The problem is I do not really know.

Is your school counting it as a 0, or not counting it in your GPA at all? It should be pretty easy to tell.

If it doesn’t signify failure, then I don’t think they’ll compute it at all. If it’s a NP (Not Passed), then they count it as an F.

Thank you guys so much.

It is not counted to the school GDP as it shows…

And it is “NG”(No Grade) instead of “NP”

It is for the freshman survey class.

the class is based on Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory

But I got “NG”(No Grade)

Thank you guys very much

This is how it is on transcript. I copy it.
