Hi All,
I was admitted to St.George for Studies in Life Sciences under Faculty of Arts and Science. But how do I select a major? Is it based on 1st year grades, or do I get into a major right away? Although I’m was admitted under Life Science, can I apply for majors in, say, chemistry?
@NorthernKev If you get a chance, go into their broadcast/webinars and look at last evening’s session for F of A&S. They said that for most A&S majors, course selection is at the end of July of your first year. No matter what you put down on your application for your intended major, you have all of freshman year to “explore” options.
Another question for you: now the status is showing as:
Application Status: File under review
MyRes Status: Interest confirmed, rankings incomplete
But all the rankings were input and Trinity confirmed the profile receipt. I’m positive that all rankings were completed and confirmed. Did you get this “rankings incomplete” also? Does it just mean that we do the final choices AFTER admission??

Yeah that happened to me too, don’t worry about it, it’s only confirmed once you get in I think. Good luck! (Or are you already in lol?)
