How does MIT look at grades/gpa

hi everybody,

I'm wondering how MIT will view my grades.
My school uses a 5.0 system 5.0 being all A's and 4.0 is all B's.
I have had 5.0 all throughout high school, but an A at my school is only an 86. Because of this will my grades be converted to a different scale? Most of my marks are in the mid 90s but I have one that is 86. Will MIT look at this as a B?

Thanks

Schools usually assign grades like that to balance a possible score inflation. You won’t be harmed by such policy; you will be evaluated in the context of your institution.

Good luck!
