How does Move-in day for freshmen work?

I registered for a time online, and it's telling me to check-in at a place called Disch Faulk Field, or something like that. Why exactly do we have to go someplace that is not even on the campus and can anyone detail how things go down that day?

You just go to the baseball stadium and get your room key, then the rest is up to you.

Are the lines long at the stadium? Would it be best to get there 10-15 minutes before your scheduled time if you want to get there early?

If you show up at the time you’re assigned, you probably won’t be a line. Housing has an extremely efficient system for you at the baseball stadium. 9-10 windows with someone available to help you. If you’re all good to go with your emergency contact, shots, etc, it should be quick.

My husband was impressed last year by how smoothly the process went for our son.

Do we have to bring any proof of vaccinations and such there on that day? I believe we were already required to mail/fax those earlier this summer, but just to make sure…
