How does my planned Ross application Freshman schedule look?

Does it show enough rigor but balance as well?

Fall:
Anthrcult 101
Soc 100 or 102
Physics 106 or 120
Econ 101
English 125

Winter:
Calc
and then 3 other classes

How many credits is that? Also it’s well known that Anthrcult and Soc are very easy classes, so just be careful about that. Physics 120 is challenging but 140 is much moreso. I would maybe of those 5 choices do Soc, Physics, Econ, English which would be a well balanced schedule with a moderate level of difficulty while providing a good transition into college. I would look into a higher level class or two, and maybe taking econ 102 or stat for another quantitative class.

Good Luck!

I think you should put physics 140 and a calc class in the fall list.

Wouldn’t that be a really difficult schedule then? I’ve heard Calc and Econ are difficult, especially first semester at college. Aside from getting all the pre-reqs out in one semester, what would be the be benefit of taking calc in fall instead of winter?

That schedule isn’t rigorous at all. You are pretty much taking Ross pre-reqs with some of the easiest intro classes at UMich…
