How does my SAT/ACT scores compare?

For SAT:
Math 800
Critical Reading 800
Writing 650

For the ACT: 35

I am looking at colleges like Amherst, William, Swarthmore, Pomona, and Carleton. Do you guys think these will make it?
My extracurriculars inlude music (lots and lots of it), National Honors Society, volunteering, and some other clubs/activities.

Your SATs are really good, but your ACT score is superior. Your scores are definitely more than enough for those schools.

The ACT score is better.

You are all set in the test scores department.

no guarantees on admission, though. you’d have to tell us more.

Honestly, I would retake the SAT just to try and get that writing up.You have SERIOUS potential for a 2400. Also, look at Georgetown because they don’t even consider your writing score. Finally, your ACT score is really good.

I wouldn’t put one score over another. This guy got a perfect score on the two most important parts of the SAT, and while he was near perfect on the ACT, I still say a 1600 M+CR is more impressive.

1600 is pretty impressive…

GPA: 4.0
AP Classes: Calculus, US History, Chemistry, Biology, Statistics, English Literature
